Contest Rules

  1. Event vouchers can be redeemed at the time of registration for all the categories against the registration fees.
  2. Students not holding event vouchers can participate by paying the applicable registration fees, strictly before the last date of registration.
  3. Artwork submissions should be based entirely on the listed 14 categories and their relevant descriptions.
  4. Winning / Nominated artworks of previously submitted entries for any of the MAAC events will not be considered for this contest.
  5. Each student can participate in as many categories as a student want. Student can register and submit art work more than once in the same Category also.
  6. It is mandatory to register for a minimum of three entries to compete for the Zonal and National Championship for below mentioned 14 categories:
    1. Vector Art
    2. Poster Design
    3. AiComic Book
    4. UI Design
    5. Art and Craft Works
    6. 30 Sec Video
    7. Digital Painting & Concept Art
    8. Matte Painting
    9. Photography
    10. Vertical short Reels
    11. Sketching & Illustration
    12. MAAC Got Talent
    13. Character Modelling
    14. Props & Environment Modeling
    15. For students who have registered for more than three entries, scores of the top three entries will be considered for evaluation of these fourteen categories.

  7. Once the submission starts, winners of the Pick of the Day Award for MCL 10.0 will be announced based on jury selection of the Best Artwork submitted for the day . For example: Pick of the Day Award for Monday is applicable for submissions made between 00:00:01Hrs to 23:59:00 Hrs. of the same day and the winner will be announced on Tuesday late evening. There will be no Pick of the day award on Sunday (Saturday Submission winners will be announce on Monday).
  8. Submitted entries should be free of all known copyright restrictions. Additionally, it should be your own creation.
  9. Non-adherence of any of the above-mentioned contest rules will lead to disqualification of entries.
  10. All awards are subject to Jury’s discretion. The decision of the Jury is final.
  11. All cash prizes are subject to tax deductions as per the Government of India

MAAC's Got Talent (MGT)

  1. Event vouchers can be redeemed at the time of registration for all the categories against the registration fees.
  2. Students not holding event vouchers can participate by paying the applicable registration fees, strictly before the last date of registration.
  3. Student can participate either individually or in a group.
  4. In case of a group performance/activity, every single individual of the group needs to register themselves separately on Aptrack portal for MCL.
  5. The submission of MGT category will be competing with the submissions of MGT only.
  6. For MGT category only Zonal and National Awards will be given out which is irrespective if the winner is an individual or a group. If the winner is a group performance/activity, the winning prize would be divided equally between all the members of the group.
  7. Submissions can be made by uploading the video on youtube and embedding the link on MCL.
  8. Every participant of a group performance/activity needs to submit their entries separately on MCL. For example: In a group dance of 5 students, every single student needs to register separately on Aptrack portal and submit the same entry separately on MCL . Only the submitted students from the group will be considered as contenders for the prize.
  9. All cash prizes are subject to tax deductions as per the Government of India.
